IT IS ANANDA PRIYA ‘KARONA’

New way of film making has been the call of every intelligent person in Kannada filmdom. We have seen scores of intelligent makers and to the list add Anandapriya a lyricist of good reputation. He is following his elder brother Dr V Nagendra Prasad in direction from lyrics.

The film ‘Karona’ went on the floors recently and it is about possibility of impossible. The teaser of the film ‘Karona’ was released before the media briefing at Abhiman Studio in Bangalore. Nagarjun is cameraman, Farhan Roshan is music director, Ravikumar brother in law of director Guruprasad is producer. Niranjan, Rajesh, Rangayana Raghu, Muni, Petrol Prasanna, Prajju Poovaiah are in the lead roles. Kavirathna Nagendra Prasad brother of director Anandapriya is writing six songs according to the concept.

It has been 14 years dream of directing a film says Anandpriya. This is a screenplay based cinema. It will set a milestone he believes. There is no regular formula says Anandapriya. On title discussion being a Hindi word, Anandpriya says it has been approved in the KFCC. The actual meaning that suits comes from Spanish language ‘Karona’ – it means a lift. With a few characters on screen Anandpriya is hopeful of a success. He is directing this film in Kannada and Malayalam. Firoz Khan is hero for Malayalam version. Actress Prajju Poovaiah is Hindu in Kannada version and Muslim in Malayalam version.

Rajesh plays a music channel head. Niranjan is in the singer role, Ravikumar producer is BBMP contractor. It is a 90 days schedule of this bilingual film for Anandaprya.
